How does Media and Information literacy affect you and your understanding about media?

Can you recall a recent situation wherein media and information literacy could have been useful?

Yes and one thing that comes to my mind when that question is asked to me is "rape", because way back last June 27 at night when I arrived at our subdivision to come home, it was dark at the road because that time, there was a brownout and then suddenly someone grab me and molested me in the dark, I did not recognize his face, I was so helpless that time, so I really screamed loud, and then luckily, I speed dialed my mom and she responded quickly and she rapidly run to where the incident happened and I was saved, because of media, therefore media is really a useful thing nowadays, especially when emergency occurs.

Yes and that recent situation happened last week Friday, June 29 when the jeepney driver was angrily asking me additional 2 pesos for the reason that my fare is not at the exact amount, then I am so shocked that he rudely said that to me in front of other passengers when in fact I really know the exact student fare from Iponan to Lourdes College which is P13.00 pesos and I am really used to it because I commute everyday. So what I did is that, I reported him to the LTFRB because I am seriously embarrassed, I texted his plate number and stated that the driver of this jeepney, committed over-pricing. So through that text message, through the information they received and through media, many illegal doings can be reported directly or maybe red-handed when you have evidences through video. Indeed media and information literacy is really useful in this generation.

Yes and it happened the day after the celebration of my birthday, when my mom was suffering from illness called "nervous breakdown", and during that time I am panicking because I am so helpless and I don't know what to do with my mom and unfortunately only me and my mother was in the house, so media really help me a lot because I search some remedies and procedures how to cure my mother, I googled it and I refer a credible source of medical information and triumphly it really helps a lot and successfully.

Yes and that useful situation to me is VLOGGING, because I am fond of making videos that could help a lot of people, especially in my talent in arts, specifically through charcoal drawings and sketchings, about fundamental or basic art tutorial, about the do's and don'ts of doing so and more videos that could help my self and could help others to improve and enhance their artistic talents via watching my youtube videos and subscribing to my youtube channel. So media and information literacy is a huge factor nowadays when it comes to learning and discovering things, therefore it is useful.
